We will pay:
Expenses incurred when the wedding/ceremony or reception must be cancelled for most reasons beyond your control.

The additional cost of alternative services incurred to avoid cancelling the wedding/ceremony or reception due to an insured cause.

The additional cost of alternative transport in the event of non-appearance of your pre-booked wedding/ceremony transport.
Cover excludes:
The Bride, Groom or partner deciding not to go ahead with the marriage/ceremony

Any circumstances you know of at the date of issue of this policy, which are likely to cause the wedding, ceremony or reception to be cut short

Wedding/Ceremony Attire
For loss of deposits for the purchase or hire of wedding/ceremony attire following the financial failure of the supplier.

For repair, replacement or hire costs following damage to or loss of the wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses and hired menswear prior to the wedding/ceremony. If loss or irreparable damage occurs after commencement of the wedding/ceremony, we will pay the market value of the lost or damaged items up to a maximum payment of 50% of the purchase price.
Loss or damage caused by cleaning, restoration or repair

Wedding/Ceremony Photographs
We will pay to retake photographs if the professional photographer fails to appear or if the negatives are lost or damaged.
The maximum we will pay for the wedding photographs is £3,000

Wedding/Ceremony Video
We will refund sums paid for professional video production if the video operator fails to appear or if the original tape is lost or damaged before finished copies are made.
The maximum we will pay for the wedding video production is £3,000

Wedding/Ceremony Presents
We will pay for loss of or damage to wedding/ceremony presents and attendants presents in your possession within 24 hours of the wedding/ceremony and at the reception.
Theft or attempted theft from any unattended vehicle unless it is securely closed and locked

Cash, cheques and gift vouchers

Wedding/Ceremony Rings
We will pay for loss of or damage to the wedding/ceremonial rings during the 7 days prior to the Wedding/ceremony
The maximum amount we will pay is £1000 per ring
