Heatherscakes is a small Edinburgh based business. I design and create bespoke cakes for all occasions. I offer a personal service and work closely with clients to produce individual cake designs within their budget.

About me…
I have always loved baking so when I was planning my wedding I decided to bake my own cake. A friend of the family, Elaine, decorated it for me and I was so impressed, I thought, I have to give this a try.

I have become obsessed. I am always reading about sugarcraft and cake decorating. I have attended courses at Squires Kitchen and have discovered that I have a flair for design. I have been making cakes and decorations for fun until friends and relatives, and their friends, asked me to make cakes for them. Some of my cake creations can be seen on this website. I continue to learn everyday but I believe that if you have an idea for a cake, I can make it happen.
