Civil Ceremonies and Partnerships at Southports Finest Wedding Hotel
The Royal Clifton Hotel & Spa is fully licenced for civil weddings and is an approved venue under the Civil Weddings Act 2005

As a guide, to arrange a ceremony at our approved venue, you should first make a provisional booking with the Royal Clifton Hotel, and then confirm with the Superintendent Registrar that Registrars will be available for the date and time that you want. The Registrars are happy to attend ceremonies on most days, but the law requires the ceremony to take place between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm

Sefton Registration Service run a provisional booking system that allows you to book your wedding for the following 12 months. Full details of the legal formalities that are required are given to you when you make your booking.

Our wedding coordinators have a wide experience with the organisation of civil partnerships and ceremonies. They regularly work closely with the registrars to ensure that your day will be a total success.
